The Fastai French deep learning study group runs an online session on models that output decisions instead of text. It presents TypeSafe AI's Jev, a non-generative model returning typed decisions with calibrated probabilities in 70–500 ms, its parallel-sampling architecture and three primitives, and contrasts RLHF, RLVR and RLCD. Demos route the same task through a local open-source model and the cloud service, wired into an n8n workflow. Aimed at developers, data and ML people, product staff and founders; no prerequisites, and slides and code are shared afterwards.
