The AI Infra Summit Hackathon runs alongside AI Infra Summit 2026 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, co-organized by the summit's producer Kisaco Research together with lablab.ai and Native. Builders form teams to ship production-grade AI applications across inference, agents, multimodal systems, and model optimization, using compute, APIs, and tooling supplied by sponsors. The format is hybrid: an online build phase opens on the lablab.ai platform and Discord around September 10, with roughly 200 on-site developers and more than 2,000 remote participants converging for the on-site finals during the summit from September 15 to 17. Each sponsor runs its own challenge track drawing from a shared rewards pool, and Intel is among the announced sponsors. Applications are submitted through lablab.ai and are subject to approval. Organizers say the hackathon welcomes participants of all experience levels, from software engineers and machine learning practitioners to data scientists and first-time hackers, and orient the work around the modern AI infrastructure stack that the summit's talks cover.
