LFDT Milano hosts an online kickoff that launches the LFDT AI Working Group and settles its scope with the people who will do the work. Three questions frame the discussion: how AI is used when building LFDT projects and what that means for provenance, licensing, DCO sign-off and security review; whether review bots, issue triage and onboarding assistants genuinely shorten the path from first-time contributor to committer; and where LFDT connects to the Agentic AI Foundation and the x402 Foundation. The aim is an initial scope, a meeting cadence and named volunteers for the first work streams. Open to maintainers, contributors, TSC members, staff and anyone in the wider Linux Foundation AI ecosystem; no prior involvement required.
