A 48-hour hackathon at Design Factory in Espoo, running 18–20 September 2026, on data sovereignty and responsible AI. Teams move from a challenge brief to a working prototype over one weekend, mentored by engineers from the partner companies that supplied the problems: Microsoft, IBM, Elisa, Relex, Verda and Norrin. A €10,000 prize pool is offered. It is run by a Finnish student-led AI community and framed around privacy, trust and control as GDPR and the EU AI Act tighten — who holds the data, and whether AI systems built on it can be trusted.
