Yannic Kilcher is a Swiss machine learning researcher and engineer, and co-founder and CTO of DeepJudge, the Zurich legal-AI company whose founders are former Google researchers with PhDs in AI from ETH Zurich. He worked on Google AI Language before that. On YouTube he reviews recent machine learning papers in detail — transformers, reinforcement learning, NLP, generative models — alongside his ML News series and commentary on the research community. He was the second author of the OpenAssistant Conversations paper, the dataset work behind the open assistant-alignment project of the same name.
