Sam Charrington founded and hosts the TWIML AI Podcast from St. Louis, interviewing machine learning researchers and covering enterprise AI and MLOps.

Sam Charrington is the founder and host of the TWIML AI Podcast, which he launched in mid-2016 as This Week in Machine Learning & AI. He runs it through CloudPulse Strategies in St. Louis, Missouri, and works as an industry analyst, speaker and commentator on the business and consumer application of machine learning and AI. His research covers enterprise AI adoption, MLOps and emerging ML and AI platforms. TWIML says he has interviewed more than 400 of the field's machine learning and AI researchers and practitioners, and that the show has been downloaded nearly ten million times; it reached episode 777 on 17 September 2026. Beyond the podcast, Charrington created TWIMLcon, TWIMLfest and the TWIML Solutions Guide, and TWIML also runs meetups, study groups and other educational programmes for the machine learning and AI community.
