Ken Jee — data science YouTuber and sports analytics

Ken Jee is Head of Data Science at Scouts Consulting Group, teaches data science careers to 279K YouTube subscribers and started the #66DaysOfData challenge.

Ken Jee is a data scientist and YouTuber. He read economics at Towson University, where he played Division I golf, spent about six months in Florida after college trying to turn professional, and went back to study, taking a master's in computer science at DePaul University and an M.S. in Commerce at the University of Virginia in 2015. He is Head of Data Science at Scouts Consulting Group, an Arlington, Virginia firm that advises sports and business organisations on research and decision-making. On YouTube he teaches data science careers, portfolio projects and interview preparation, and he started the #66DaysOfData challenge. He hosted the Ken's Nearest Neighbors podcast, whose last episode went out in October 2024. Since late 2025 his work has turned toward AI: he built Newsletter Hero, a tool that drafts newsletters from YouTube videos or pasted text, in 43 days, and now makes videos about preparing for the disruption he expects AI to bring.
