Arvind Jain — founder and CEO of Glean

Arvind Jain founded Glean in 2019 and runs it as CEO. He was a Google distinguished engineer for over a decade and co-founded Rubrik before that.

Arvind Jain is the founder and CEO of Glean, an enterprise AI platform that connects a company's internal knowledge and powers search, answers and AI agents across its tools. He spent more than a decade at Google as a distinguished engineer, leading teams across Search, Maps and YouTube, after starting his career at Microsoft and holding a leadership role at Akamai. Before Glean, which he started in January 2019 with Vishwanath T R, Tony Gentilcore and Piyush Prahladka, he co-founded Rubrik and led its R&D; the data-security company is now publicly traded. He holds a BTech in computer science from IIT Delhi and a master's in computer science from the University of Washington. Glean raised $150 million in a Series F in June 2025 at a $7.2 billion valuation, led by Wellington Management, and announced in May 2026 that it had passed $300 million in annual recurring revenue.
