Singapore-based voice AI company building multilingual Talkbots and inbound agents for banks, telcos and BPOs across Southeast Asia.

WIZ.AI was co-founded in Singapore in 2019 by Jennifer Zhang, who serves as President and CEO, alongside chairman Jianfeng Lu, with a specific bet that generic voice AI trained on standard English or Mandarin would fail on the code-switching and regional accents common across Southeast Asia, including Singlish. The company built its own speech models to handle that mix rather than adapting an off-the-shelf voice stack. Its Talkbot product handles outbound voice campaigns such as collections reminders and sales calls, while a newer product line covers inbound customer service and quality monitoring, aimed at banks, telcos, insurers and BPOs across Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and other Southeast Asian markets, with expansion into Latin America and the Middle East. WIZ.AI was recognized as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer in 2022. The company has raised over $50 million to date, including a $6 million pre-Series A led by GGV Capital and a Series B closing in November 2025 led by SMBC Asia Rising Fund with participation from Beacon Venture Capital and existing investors Singtel Innov8 and Granite Asia.
