AI virtual try-on platform that composites real garment photography onto real fashion models for online retailers.

Veesual was founded in 2020 in Paris by Maxime Patte and Damien Meurisse. The company raised a $7.5 million seed round in 2024 led by AXA Venture Partners with participation from Techstars, alongside an announced US expansion. Unlike virtual try-on tools that generate a shopper's body and outfit from scratch, Veesual composites real photographs of garments onto real photographs of models, using AI to handle alignment, lighting matching and blending. This lets retailers show a single garment across multiple body types, skin tones and ages without re-shooting for every combination, and the company also offers outfit mix-and-match and multi-sizing display features. Brands including La Redoute, Claudie Pierlot and Eileen Fisher use Veesual on their sites, and the company has reported conversion and average-order-value increases for retailers running the technology on product pages.
