Uizard

AI-powered UI design tool for generating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes from text prompts or sketches; now part of Miro.

Uizard began as pix2code, a 2017 machine-learning research project in Copenhagen, Denmark, and was founded as a company by Tony Beltramelli along with Florian van Schreven, Henrik Haugbolle, and Ioannis Sintos. Uizard built an AI-powered rapid design platform that turns text prompts, hand-drawn sketches, and screenshots into editable UI wireframes and prototypes. The company raised roughly $18.6 million in total funding, including a $2.8 million seed round led by LDV Capital and byFounders, and a $15 million Series A in 2021 led by Insight Partners. Uizard was acquired by collaborative-software company Miro on June 12, 2024, and continues to operate as "Uizard by Miro," with the product available largely unchanged as part of Miro's design and prototyping offerings.
