Typeface
Enterprise generative AI platform that creates on-brand marketing content grounded in a company's guidelines and assets.

Typeface was founded in 2022 by Abhay Parasnis, previously chief product and technology officer at Adobe, on the premise that enterprise marketing teams needed generative AI grounded in their actual brand guidelines rather than a generic chatbot. The company emerged from stealth in February 2023 with $65 million in funding and closed a $100 million Series B five months later at a $1 billion valuation, led by Salesforce Ventures with Lightspeed, Google Ventures, Menlo, Madrona, and Microsoft's M12 also participating — bringing total funding to $165 million. The core product, Typeface Arc, is a marketing orchestration engine made up of four pieces: Arc Graph, which ingests a company's brand assets and guidelines to ground content generation; Arc Agents, which handle discrete marketing tasks like drafting or research; Arc Spaces, which manages the review-and-approval workflow around content; and Arc Forge, for building custom agents on top of the platform. Typeface positions itself squarely at large enterprises, with pricing that reportedly runs from six to seven figures annually, and Time magazine named Arc one of its Best Inventions of 2024. The company has grown to roughly 250-300 employees and is headquartered in Palo Alto, California.
