Tactiq is a meeting assistant that runs as a browser extension and captures live transcripts of Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams calls directly, without sending a visible bot into the meeting. It transcribes in real time across dozens of languages with speaker labels, then produces one-click summaries, action items, and answers to custom prompts, and pushes those into tools like Slack, Notion, HubSpot, and Linear. The company was founded in 2020 by Ksenia Svechnikova and Nick Nikolaiev in Sydney, Australia, emerging as remote meetings exploded during the pandemic. It grew through the Chrome Web Store to more than a million users and is used inside companies including OpenAI, NVIDIA, Vercel, and GitHub. Tactiq went through Antler's program and later raised roughly $7.3M in a round led by Flashpoint with Mucker Capital and Antler participating. A privacy angle differentiates it: transcripts are text-based and Tactiq states it does not store meeting audio, and the product carries SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance.
