Synthflow AI was founded in Berlin in 2023 by brothers Hakob and Albert Astabatsyan along with Sassun Mirzakhan-Saky, initially under a different name before rebranding around its voice agent product. The company targets a different buyer than the developer-first voice platforms in this space: small and mid-sized businesses, agencies, and franchises that want a receptionist-style voice agent without hiring an engineer to build one. The platform's no-code builder lets non-technical users configure an agent's script, connect it to a calendar for appointment booking, and route it into 200+ third-party integrations, with deployment typically measured in weeks rather than months. Synthflow reports powering millions of voice calls monthly across more than 1,000 companies. Synthflow raised a $20 million Series A in mid-2025, led by Accel with participation from Atlantic Labs and Singular, bringing total funding to roughly $30 million on top of an earlier seed round.
