Computer-vision tracking data company that extracts player and ball positions from broadcast soccer footage for scouting and performance analysis.

SkillCorner was founded in 2016 in Paris by Hugo Bordigoni and Charles Montmaneix on the idea that existing broadcast camera footage already contains enough signal to reconstruct player tracking data, without needing a club to install dedicated optical tracking cameras in its stadium. The company raised a $60 million growth investment from Silversmith Capital Partners in 2024, adding to earlier backing including Seventure Partners, and now supplies data to clubs, leagues and broadcasters across most of Europe's major soccer competitions. It has also begun expanding into basketball, partnering with Kinexon to bring similar tracking-derived metrics to NCAA basketball programs. Its two flagship data lines are Physical, which extracts sprint counts, distance and high-intensity running from any broadcast feed, and Game Intelligence, which layers off-ball positioning and tactical context on top of event data. Both are sold primarily as data licenses and APIs rather than a self-serve consumer dashboard.
