Rows, originally founded as dashdash in 2016 by Humberto Ayres Pereira and Torben Schulz, is a spreadsheet company with roots in Berlin and Porto. It rebranded to Rows and repositioned around bringing live data and AI into a familiar spreadsheet interface. The product looks like a conventional spreadsheet but ships with built-in integrations that pull data from services like Stripe, HubSpot, and Google Analytics directly into cells, plus an AI Analyst that generates formulas, cleans data, and answers questions about a table from natural-language prompts. Rows raised roughly $33.7 million across several rounds from investors including Indico Capital Partners, Accel, Lakestar, and Cherry Ventures. In February 2026 it was acquired by Superhuman to strengthen that company's AI productivity suite; the product continued shipping under the new owner.
