Rogo

AI copilot built for investment bankers and buy-side analysts that automates financial research, comps, models and pitch decks inside Excel and PowerPoint.

Rogo

Rogo was founded in January 2022 by Gabriel Stengel, John Willett and Tumas Rackaitis, three Princeton classmates who had worked at J.P. Morgan and Lazard and started building right after GPT-3 became available to developers. The pitch was narrow and specific: junior bankers spend enormous amounts of time on repetitive work like pulling comps, formatting models and drafting first-pass memos, and an AI system trained on how banking actually works could take that off their plates. The company built its own retrieval and reasoning layers on top of frontier models rather than relying on generic chat, wiring the assistant directly into Excel, PowerPoint, Word and each firm's internal data. Rogo now says more than 35,000 bankers and investors across 250-plus institutions use the platform, including teams at Rothschild & Co, Jefferies, Lazard, Moelis and Nomura, generating over 50,000 queries a day. In 2026 the company raised a $160 million Series D led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from Sequoia, Thrive Capital and J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, bringing total funding past $300 million and funding the launch of Felix, its more autonomous agent product for end-to-end deal workflows.
