PixVerse was founded in April 2023 by Wang Changhu, a former Microsoft Research Asia and ByteDance executive, together with co-founder Jaden Xie. The company builds an AI video generation platform that produces short videos from text and image prompts, and has since attracted more than 150 million registered users across 177 countries. PixVerse raised a Series C round that closed at roughly $439M in mid-2026, pushing its valuation past $2B and bringing total funding to more than $550M. Investors across its rounds include Ant Group, Alibaba, Lighthouse Capital, Mirae Asset, BlueFocus, and the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund. The company opened its first U.S. office in the Seattle/Bellevue area following the raise. PixVerse is headquartered in Singapore, with a team the company has said it plans to grow toward 200 employees.
