Bootstrapped AI tool that turns plain product photos into styled marketing images for small ecommerce sellers.

Pebblely was founded in Singapore in early 2023 by Swee Kiat Lim and Alfred Lua. The founders chose to stay bootstrapped rather than raise outside funding, building the product at their own pace. The core tool lets a seller upload a plain photo of a product and generate a styled scene or background around it in under a minute, aimed squarely at small ecommerce sellers, Etsy shops and agencies that can't afford a full product photoshoot for every item. It offers a free tier alongside paid monthly plans priced by image volume. Despite never raising venture funding, Pebblely has grown to more than one million signups, and the founders have spoken publicly about building the company deliberately slowly rather than chasing rapid, funded growth.
