Nabla

Paris-based AI scribe company whose Nabla Copilot listens to patient visits and drafts clinical notes for doctors and nurses.

Nabla was founded in Paris in 2018 by Alexandre Lebrun, Delphine Groll and Martin Raison, three former Facebook AI Research and Wit.ai engineers who originally built a consumer health chatbot before redirecting the company in 2022 toward ambient clinical documentation for physicians. That pivot produced Nabla Copilot, an AI assistant that listens during patient encounters and drafts structured notes, referral letters and patient summaries without a clinician having to dictate or type. The company has raised roughly $120 million to date, including a $70 million Series C in 2025 led by Germany's HV Capital with participation from Highland Europe, DST Global, Cathay Innovation and Tony Fadell's Build Collective, following a $24 million Series B in early 2024. Nabla now says its platform is deployed across more than 190 health organizations and used by over 100,000 clinicians spanning primary care, mental health and more than 50 specialties, with native integrations into Epic, Oracle Health, athenahealth and other EHRs.
