Munch
AI tool that turns one long video into dozens of ready-to-post social clips, captions and a content calendar.

Munch started in Tel Aviv in 2021, when co-founders Oren Kandel and Peter Naftaliev got tired of watching creators spend more time re-cutting footage than filming it. Their pitch was narrow: feed the platform a podcast, webinar, or long YouTube video, and its AI finds the moments worth clipping, then reframes and captions them for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts automatically. The company raised a $7.2 million seed round in late 2023 from A* Capital and Liquid2 Ventures, on top of earlier seed money, pushing total funding past $8 million. Munch stayed lean, running with roughly 30 people out of Tel Aviv while the underlying clip-detection engine kept improving. In 2026 the product was rebranded to Munch Studio and widened its scope beyond clipping — adding a content calendar, AI-written captions for stretches without new footage, and direct scheduling to social accounts, positioning itself less as a clipping tool and more as a lightweight social media manager for solo creators and small agencies.
