Mintlify is a documentation platform co-founded by Han Wang and Hahnbee Lee while they were students at Cornell University; the company went through Y Combinator's Winter 2022 batch and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. Mintlify helps companies create, host, and maintain self-updating developer documentation, and has increasingly positioned itself as "knowledge infrastructure" for AI agents, offering features such as an agent-native documentation format, access control, and an "Agent Score" to measure how well AI agents can read a company's docs. Its customers reportedly include Anthropic, Amazon, Coinbase, Solana, AT&T, HubSpot, Vercel, and Zapier, with the platform said to serve over 20,000 companies. Mintlify has raised a total of roughly $66.7 million in funding. It raised an $18 million Series A in September 2024 led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Y Combinator, TwentyTwo Ventures, and Sourcegraph co-founder Quinn Slack, and later raised a $45 million Series B at a $500 million valuation led by Andreessen Horowitz and Salesforce Ventures. The company is reported to have around 51-200 employees.
