Kits AI (styled Kits.AI) is an AI-powered voice production platform for musicians, founded in 2021 and based in San Francisco. It built its product around ethically sourced, licensed voice models, working directly with artists to license their voices rather than scraping data, and offers voice cloning, AI vocals, pitch correction, vocal isolation, stem separation and mastering. The company raised about $9.2 million from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Kygo's Palm Tree Crew, Electric Feel Ventures and artist-backers such as Steve Aoki, Wyclef Jean and 3LAU. Kits AI says it has processed tens of millions of minutes of vocals for millions of users. In 2024 it was acquired by the music-software company Splice, with the founding team joining Splice while the Kits.AI product continues to operate.
