iSpring Solutions was founded in 2001 by Yury Uskov, who built a PowerPoint-to-online-course converter that became the company's original product. Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, the company has remained privately held and, according to its own reporting, profitable without institutional funding since an early seed round. Its product line splits into authoring tools, primarily iSpring Suite AI and iSpring Cloud AI, used to build courses, quizzes, and dialogue simulations, and iSpring LMS (renamed from iSpring Learn in October 2025), used to deliver and track that training. Suite AI has added text-to-speech narration in 58 languages, an in-app AI assistant, AI image generation, and an AI Course Creator that turns a short prompt plus a handful of source files into a structured course draft. The company reports roughly $28 million in annual revenue and serves more than 60,000 customers across over 170 countries, including Fortune 500 names such as Microsoft, IKEA, Boeing, and Bank of America, competing primarily with Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate in the authoring-tool market.
