Heuritech
Paris-based AI trend forecasting platform that scans social media imagery to predict which fashion styles, colors, and product attributes will sell next season.

Heuritech was founded in Paris in 2013 by Tony Pinville and Charles Ollion, two machine learning researchers from Sorbonne University, on the idea that computer vision applied to social media photos could tell brands what people are actually wearing before sales data catches up. Its system scans large volumes of public images from platforms like Instagram, identifies garments, colors, patterns, and styling details within them, and turns that into forecasts that merchandising and design teams use to plan assortments, buy quantities, and design collections months ahead of season. The platform built its client base among luxury, sportswear, and mass-market fashion companies that use its trend reports to reduce the guesswork in buying decisions, an area where getting a color or silhouette call wrong translates directly into markdowns. In December 2024, Heuritech was acquired by Luxurynsight, a French data intelligence company serving the luxury and beauty sector, with Heuritech's roughly 25-person Paris team joining Luxurynsight's existing 45-person office to combine trend forecasting with Luxurynsight's market intelligence data. The combined product continues to operate out of Paris under the Heuritech name for existing fashion and sportswear clients.
