HeadshotPro is a bootstrapped AI headshot generator built by Dutch entrepreneur Danny Postma, who launched it in 2023 after his earlier exit selling the AI writing tool Headlime. Operating out of Groningen, Netherlands, the company has stayed a lean, largely solo operation while processing headshots for close to 200,000 customers and generating over 17 million total images, a scale that has attracted corporate accounts at companies including Microsoft and Amazon for team headshot rollouts. The product sits at the value end of the AI-headshot market: a single $29 package produces over a hundred images across dozens of outfit and background combinations, delivered within roughly 20-30 minutes, undercutting studio photography by a wide margin. Postma has documented much of the company's growth publicly and continues to run it without outside venture funding.
