FlowiseAI was founded in 2023 by Henry (ZhenJing) Heng (CEO) and Chung Yau Ong, going through Y Combinator's Summer 2023 batch. The platform provides a drag-and-drop visual builder for creating chatbots, multi-agent systems, and LLM-powered workflows with tool calling and retrieval-augmented generation, and was used by organizations including Thermo Fisher, Deloitte, Accenture, and AWS, earning over 42,000 GitHub stars. Workday acquired Flowise in August 2025 (terms undisclosed) to add agent-building capabilities to its enterprise platform.
