Docebo was founded in 2005 in Macherio, Italy, by Claudio Erba, and is now headquartered in Toronto, Canada, after listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 2019 and NASDAQ (DCBO) in 2020. Alessio Artuffo, who joined the company in 2012, became CEO in September 2024, with Erba moving into a Chief Innovation Officer role. The company employs roughly 900 people. Its platform centers on Learn LMS for formal and compliance training, extended to partners and customers as well as employees, with Docebo Creator adding AI-generated courses, quizzes, and 46-language translation on top of existing documents. In January 2026, Docebo acquired 365Talents for roughly $54.6 million plus an earn-out, adding a genuine skills graph rather than the tag-based skill tracking common among LMS vendors. Docebo competes with Cornerstone OnDemand, SAP SuccessFactors, and Absorb LMS in the enterprise learning market, and announced an agentic AI initiative called AgentHub at its Inspire 2026 conference, targeting compliance, upskilling, and analytics workflows for a fall 2026 launch.
