CoreWeave, Inc. is an AI-focused cloud computing company headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. It was founded in 2017 as a commodities-trading and crypto-mining operation (originally Atlantic Crypto) by Michael Intrator, Brian Venturo, Brannin McBee, and Peter Salanki, before pivoting to rent out its GPU infrastructure for AI workloads. CoreWeave operates data centers across the United States and Europe, providing large clusters of NVIDIA GPUs for training and running generative AI and other machine learning models, and has become one of Nvidia's largest cloud partners and customers. The company went public on Nasdaq under the ticker CRWV in March 2025 in one of the largest AI-related IPOs to date, following prior investment and debt financing from Nvidia, Magnetar Capital, and Blackstone.
