Comfy Org maintains ComfyUI, an open-source, node-based interface for building and running diffusion-model workflows for image, video, and audio generation.

ComfyUI was created in January 2023 by a developer known online as "comfyanonymous" (Yannik Marek) as a node-based graphical interface for Stable Diffusion. The core team later formalized as Comfy Org, an independent company headquartered in San Francisco, after an earlier affiliation with Stability AI ended in mid-2024. Comfy Org raised roughly $19 million in Series A funding in late 2024 from investors including Chemistry Ventures, Cursor Capital, and Vercel founder Guillermo Rauch, then a $30 million round in April 2026 led by Craft Ventures at a $500 million valuation, bringing total funding to roughly $47-48 million. ComfyUI remains free and open source, with a community of around 4 million users and 60,000+ community-built custom nodes, and is used by studios and agencies for AI-generated advertising and creative production.
