Puneet Kohli and Nikita Gupta founded Careerflow in 2020, bootstrapping the company from San Francisco without taking outside venture funding. Careerflow says it has reached roughly $5.6 million in annual recurring revenue with a team in the dozens, growth driven largely by a free Chrome extension that grades a LinkedIn profile section by section and rewrites the headline and About copy. The platform has since grown into a broader suite covering an AI resume builder, a job tracker called the Board, one-click application autofill, and a paid mock interview module. Careerflow competes most directly with Teal and Huntr on the tracking side and with dedicated LinkedIn tools on the profile-optimization side, leaning on its free LinkedIn grader as the wedge that gets users into the rest of the product.
