Buildots

Computer-vision platform that compares 360° jobsite footage against BIM models and schedules to track construction progress automatically.

Buildots was founded in Tel Aviv in 2018 by Roy Danon, Aviv Leibovici, and Yakir Sudry, who set out to replace the weekly walk-and-guess method contractors traditionally used to estimate how far along a job actually is. Site engineers wear a 360-degree camera on a hardhat during a normal site walk, and Buildots' computer vision models automatically identify what's been built at every location and cross-reference it against the BIM model and master schedule. The platform has been adopted by large general contractors including Turner Construction, JE Dunn, Mace, and Bouygues, primarily on complex commercial and industrial builds where manual progress tracking is hardest to keep current. Two-way integrations with Oracle Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, and Microsoft Project let scheduling teams pull Buildots' findings straight into the tools they already use. Buildots has raised more than $165 million across several rounds, including a $60 million Series C in 2022 and a $45 million Series D in 2025 at a reported $300 million valuation. In late 2025 it acquired workforce and safety platform Genda, which it began rolling out as Buildots Field in mid-2026.
