Workforce planning software that helps construction contractors staff projects, forecast pipeline needs, and manage resourcing across jobs.

Bridgit was founded in late 2012 in Kitchener, Ontario by Mallorie Brodie and Lauren Lake, two engineers who wanted to fix how construction companies staffed projects, historically tracked in spreadsheets or a single operations manager's memory. The company's first product, Bridgit Field, launched in 2014 for site documentation, before the team shifted focus to workforce planning with Bridgit Bench, launched in 2019, which has since become its flagship offering. Bridgit Bench maps out which people are assigned to which projects using a Gantt-style interface, giving operations and staffing leads visibility into utilization, upcoming project pipeline, and where they'll need to hire or reassign people next. It's used by nearly 40% of the ENR 400 largest US contractors, including Balfour Beatty, Skanska, and Ryan Companies, across North America, the UK, and Australia. Bridgit has raised more than CAD $43.5 million, including a CAD $24 million Series B round in 2021 co-led by Camber Creek and Storm Ventures, with Autodesk also an investor in the company since 2020.
