Long-form AI writing and SEO platform, formerly Content at Scale, now bundled with intent-data tools for B2B marketers.

BrandWell launched in December 2021 as Content at Scale, founded by Justin McGill (previously behind sales-prospecting tool LeadFuze) alongside Kamran Yaqoob. The company built one of the first long-form AI content generators to hit the market, notably shipping before ChatGPT's public release, using its own model rather than a wrapper around someone else's. The pitch was simple: give it a target keyword and get back a full, SEO-structured blog draft rather than a paragraph at a time. In the summer of 2024 the company rebranded to BrandWell to reflect a broader product beyond writing alone. The current platform bundles RankWell, the original long-form content and SEO engine, with TrafficID, an intent-data tool that identifies companies researching a brand's category, and AIMEE, an AI agent meant to run broader marketing workflows like ad campaigns and competitive research. The company says it has more than 10,000 paying customers and generates over 50 million words a month for them. BrandWell has stayed bootstrapped since founding, funded by proceeds from McGill's earlier company rather than venture capital. It's headquartered in Glendale, Arizona, with an R&D office in Scottsdale.
