Brandmark was created by Jack Qiao, a developer who built the first version of the logo generator as a side project before turning it into a full product starting around 2017. Unlike most software in this space, Brandmark charges a one-time fee per logo rather than a recurring subscription. The generator asks for a business name and a handful of style and industry cues, then produces dozens of logo concepts combining icon marks, wordmarks, and color palettes. Paid tiers unlock the full-resolution source files plus a matching brand kit: business cards, social media graphics, app icons, and a basic style guide document. The product also includes standalone utilities — an AI color wheel for palette generation and a font-pairing tool — that get used independently of the logo generator itself.
