AI fashion photography platform that turns flat-lay product shots into on-model images using AI-generated models, for online apparel brands.

Botika builds generative AI models purpose-built for fashion e-commerce photography, converting a brand's flat-lay or mannequin shots into images of the same garment worn by a diverse cast of AI-generated models. Founded in Tel Aviv in 2019 by Eran Dagan and Yarin Didi Meir, both alumni of Israeli military intelligence unit 8200, the company trains its own foundation models rather than wrapping a general-purpose image generator, aiming for texture and print fidelity that off-the-shelf diffusion tools tend to struggle with on fabric. Botika closed an $8 million seed round in January 2025, co-led by Stardom Ventures and Secret Chord Ventures with Seedcamp participating, bringing its total raised to roughly $18 million. The company says it works with more than 1,000 fashion e-commerce brands, including Jordache, citing production cost cuts as high as 90% and turnaround dropping from six-week photoshoot cycles to under a day.
