Bardeen
San Francisco startup behind the Bardeen browser agent, a no-code automation extension that scrapes web data, enriches leads, and runs multi-step workflows for go-to-market teams.

Bardeen makes a browser extension that automates repetitive work across the tabs and apps people already use. Users pick from prebuilt 'playbooks' or describe a task in plain language, and the agent scrapes data from sites, enriches records, copies information into spreadsheets and CRMs, and chains steps together. Over time it has narrowed from a general productivity tool toward go-to-market use: prospecting, lead enrichment, and pipeline automation for sales and revenue teams. Founded in 2020 by Artem Harutyunyan and Pascal Weinberger, the company raised a $15.3M Series A in 2022 led by Insight Partners, with 468 Capital and FirstMark participating, bringing total backing to roughly $22M; a later round added strategic investors including Dropbox Ventures and HubSpot Ventures. The team is small, around three dozen people spread across several continents. Bardeen positions itself against point scrapers and Zapier-style connectors by running inside the browser with the user's own logged-in sessions, which lets it reach data behind authentication that server-side tools cannot.
